Orlando Launches Business Resource Center for COVID-19

Webpage provides regional employers with up-to-date resources and information

Orlando, Fla. – Today, the Orlando Economic Partnership (the Partnership) activated an Orlando region COVID-19 online business resource center to provide up-to-date information, and relevant resources to aid employers’ response to COVID-19. Businesses can access and share the resource center at Orlando.org/covid19.

The online business resource center includes information provided by the Partnership’s healthcare partners, key preparation downloads for businesses and relevant links to public health agencies, state and local organizations. It also features links to the U.S. Small Business Administration, Florida Damage Assessment Survey, for information on disaster loans and emergency hotlines.

“We encourage you to begin taking steps now to ensure your organization is prepared, including creating risk management teams and contingency plans,” said Tim Giuliani, Partnership president and CEO.

“Adopting a prepared mindset with a focus on the health of your employees and your business is your best defense.”

By being prepared and following the advice of experts, businesses, large and small, can greatly influence the community’s awareness and readiness against the spread of the coronavirus.

“We all need to be doing more to flatten the curve by slowing the spread of the virus, so our healthcare system isn’t overrun by thousands of new cases all at once,” Giuliani said.
