The report was recognized by the Central Florida chapter of WTS International, an organization of both women and men with the mission of advancing women and advancing transportation.
Orlando, Fla. – The Orlando Transportation 2030 Report released by the Orlando Economic Partnership (the Partnership) and its Alliance for Regional Transportation (ART), which is comprised of key business leaders from around the region, received the Innovative Transportation Solutions Award by the Central Florida chapter of WTS International.
WTS is an international organization of both women and men with the mission of advancing women and advancing transportation. Each year, the Central Florida Chapter of WTS celebrates the contributions of fantastic women and men in the transportation industry.
“The goal of the report was obviously to make recommendations to improve transportation in the Central Florida region,” said Tracy Stockwell, CFO at Universal Orlando Resort and ART executive committee chair.
“Transportation is complicated. You really need to look at solutions that are multifaceted, to look at different modes of transportation and how they integrate together.”

Eleven women representing major employers, members of the ART Executive Committee and Partnership staff contributed to the development of the 2030 report. They include:

The report, which takes into account current trends and disruptions facing the region, key mobility challenges and opportunities, and successful practices both within Central Florida and nationwide, outlines seven regional priorities to move Orlando’s transportation system forward along with what must be done to achieve them.
“The Innovative Transportation Solutions Award salutes an innovative transportation project that was led by a woman. The 2020 recipient was actually led by many women,” said Courtney Reynolds, transit planning manager at VHB and awards recognition chair of WTS Central Florida.
