Johnson & Johnson has been a part of the Orlando community for nearly 30 years, dating back to when Human Performance Institute Co-Founders Dr. Jim Loehr and Dr. Jack Groppel opened the doors to the first facility in the 1990s. Since then, thousands have experienced the science-based training solutions offered by behavioral, exercise and nutrition experts at Human Performance Institute to help them expand and maximize their energy for high performance and resilience at work and in life.

Results
The new facility was permitted in only 17 days by the City of Orlando, expediting the company’s time to begin construction – which was completed in just a little over a year. The new Human Performance Institute facility is a one-story, 34,480-square-foot office building with a gym, a tennis court and 90 parking spaces, including five spaces dedicated to green vehicles and two for electric vehicles.
Community
Lake Nona is a vibrant community for medical care, research and education focused on human performance and well-being. The community is home to some of the nation’s leading hospitals, universities, research institutions, and health and life sciences companies. These pioneering institutions are forming networks and synergies to advance health care while serving as a job engine for the region.

The Orlando Economic Partnership assisted the company with incentives and expedited permitting at the City of Orlando and the State of Florida. Partners on the project include City of Orlando, Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC), CareerSource Central Florida, Enterprise Florida, and the State of Florida.
